What is it?
Mailbox Melodies is made entirely by Ms. Chelsea — an Early Childhood Music Educator, preschool teacher, and mom of two. Classically trained in voice with over 30 years of stage experience, she has performed professionally for Disneyland and SeaWorld. Through her small music education business, Grape Jammers, families from afar were asking how they could experience the magic happening in her music classes… and so Mailbox Melodies was born.

Grows with your Child
Infancy
Exposure to music in infancy is one of the most researched early development inputs. Within months infants show stronger neural processing of sound patterns to facilitate larger vocabularies, better phonetic discrimination & strengthened pattern recognition.
Even just 15-30 minutes of interactive music daily can improve attention and increase vocalization.
How to use: Infants learn through repetition. Make it a daily routine to play song tracks, story times, and lullabies.
Time of day: Tummy time, winding down, bath time, nursing or feeding.
Toddlerhood
Toddlers need equal parts of movement & regulating activities. At this age, you really see the children begin to engage with the CD tracks — from jumping around like little bunnies to “smelling the flowers,” which teaches them how to take big breaths.
How to use: Play the CD through like a music class or skip around to different tracks throughout the day based on the parent guide. There are transition songs, wind down routines and even a calming story time.

Where do I find a CD player
While some of you may luck out at a thrift store or your parents basement…Amazon has a bunch of players to choose from! This is my favorite at the moment because of how quickly you can skip from track to track, it plays cassettes and has a radio. This one here is a great budget friendly option.
What ages is this best for?
Mailbox Melodies is thoughtfully designed for developing minds of ages 0–6, but some 6+ have reported enjoying it as well — especially the story time and sing-alongs!
When will my child’s Mailbox Melodies arrive?
I send out a newly themed monthly Mailbox Melodies on the 15th of every month via USPS. We are a snail mail club and believe the magic is in doing it the old school way with no tracking. Mail usually arrives between 3-7 business days. We are based in California.
Note: If you sign up for your subscription by the 5th of the current month, you will receive that month’s Mailbox Melodies. If you sign up after the 5th of the current month, you wont be charged until the next month and will receive the following month’s Mailbox Melodies.

Who is Ms. Chelsea?
I am a semi-crunchy mom of two toddlers, with a major in performance, I have a musical background and education, I created Grape Jammers—play-based music classes for 0-6 year olds, I’m a prior preschool teacher, former performer for major theme parks, and I LOVE working with children—they have the best outlook on life and their energy is contagious!
